The Rooty Tooty Shooties
There was a point where I thought I would never get this project to the state it's currently in! There was a time where I was deflated; completely unmotivated to continue this project. Mostly because I overwhelmed myself with the sheer scope I intentionally had for it.
That's one of the biggest take-aways from this experience: scope realistically.
That said, there's plenty more to be done with this game, so the project itself is far from over.
NEW STUFF
- Characters now move and jump at a fixed velocity.
- Egg "checkpoints" placed in a couple positions.
- New enemy variant "Lil Hummer" / aerial & vertical enemy.
- Character selection!
- Intro cutscene!
- Main Menu & Options!
Basically an overhaul of what I had before. :)
FUTURE PLANS & IDEAS...
- Iron out current visual & gameplay bugs.
- Expand the "Western" level, possibly introduce the "Distillery" level.
- Whatever the below image may represent... (may be wishful thinking, but we'll see with time!)
